AI Innovators Scholarship

About the Scholarship:

The AI Innovators Future Scholarship awards a one-time $500 grant to a high school senior in Wisconsin who demonstrates a keen understanding of and a commitment to the responsible use of generative AI. This initiative supports inventive minds eager to explore AI's ethical landscape without the constraints of financial need or academic benchmarks.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a graduating high school senior residing in Wisconsin.

  • Demonstrated engagement with a generative AI project or initiative.

  • No financial need or GPA requirements.

  • Submission of a project or essay on the topic of responsible AI usage.

Scholarship Award:

  • One-time disbursement of $500 to assist with any educational costs.

  • Public acknowledgment of the recipient's work on the Foundation’s website and social media channels.

Application Requirements:

  • Complete the online application.

  • Provide a brief on a personal AI project or a 500-word essay on responsible AI usage.

Deadline:

  • May 1st, 2024

Winner Announced:

  • June 1st, 2024

AI Leadership Scholarship

About the Scholarship:

The Collegiate AI Leadership Award is a one-time $500 scholarship granted to a currently enrolled college student who has exhibited leadership and initiative in promoting the ethical use of generative AI. This award recognizes the importance of academic passion for AI and its potential to drive positive change.

Eligibility:

  • Current enrollment at a Wisconsin-based college or university including Jr. College.

  • Active involvement in AI-related studies or extracurricular activities centered on ethical practices.

  • No financial criteria; recipients are selected based on their dedication to advancing AI ethics.

Scholarship Award:

  • A one-time $500 scholarship to support educational expenses, such as tuition, books, or research materials.

  • Feature of the recipient's contributions on the Foundation’s digital platforms.

Application Requirements:

  • Submission of an online application.

  • Evidence of current college enrollment and AI-related academic or extracurricular commitment.

  • A recommendation letter supporting the candidate’s work in AI ethics.

Deadline:

  • May 1st, 2024

Winner Announced:

  • June 1st, 2024
